A Bit About Me
I'm a researcher at Bartın University’s Karaman Research Group, where we explore new drug candidates for cancer treatment. Their work focuses on targeting key cellular pathways, such as the pentose phosphate pathway and nucleotide excision repair, to better understand cancer metabolism and DNA repair mechanisms. Passionate about unraveling the molecular crosstalk between DNA repair and glucose metabolism, they’re always on the hunt for the next breakthrough.
Beyond the lab, I enjoy diving into new ideas, whether it's discussing the latest scientific discoveries or just geeking out over a great book, movie, or coffee blend. With a mix of curiosity, precision, and a good sense of humor, I bring both science and fun to the table—because solving cancer isn’t just about hard work, it’s also about enjoying the process.
